Hi all, I think I have a problem on my last acquisition, a Ford Focus MK2 (2206) 1.8 petrol Duratec HE 125hp. The temperature gauge rarely get off of 60 "degrees C". First time poster here, got my 07 MK2 Focus about two weeks ago. It's a 1.8 Petrol Focus Sport, manual. I've noticed than when I'm coming to a stop, from any speed. Hi all, My father in law's DV6 MK2.5 is already causing problems and he's not had it 2 months yet! There is no lift pump in the tank on any of the Focus Mk2 Diesel cars, 1.8, 1.6, 2L. The main diesel pump has to do all of the work of sucking fuel up out of the tank. That is why air in fuel lines can be such a problem.
