Horizon Zero Dawn STILL RANDOMLY CRASHES IN 2023 !!! (I know there's a number of posts re PC crashes for this game, however, this post provides a 'latest update' to see if the situation is fixed or not) This could have been a fantastic, unique game. Unfortunately, as at 16th April 2023 - over 2.5 years AFTER THE PC release - it is still a Playing on PC I know how to access the rocks (I press Z) but can not remember how to actually throw them. I think the default button is F on PC. Yeah the default keybindings are z and x to select the thing in the item rotation, then f to use.
Needs a complete engine rewrite on the PS4 which isn’t as simple as a patch like Ratchet and Clank, and the PC code can’t just be copied over as that is developed to run on PC’s with more power that what the PS4 can offer, even with the backwards compatibility on PS5!
I just have about 8gb left to download. looking forward to it. I am keeping an open mind about bugs as I have been warned and this pc. It's just unpredictable. You never really know if you enjoy a game until you play. I thought I might like Monster Hunter just not working out. This I think will be good.
Horizon zero dawn pc keeps crashing on loading screen. HZD Discussion. The other day the game was working fine, but now suddenly anytime I go to launch the game, it crashes about midway through loading. I've tryed literally everything, and now I'm stuck. Anyone who knows how to fix it?
Oh for sure, Horizon Forbidden West is a gorgeous game. Best graphics I've seen so far in a game. The water effects are just chefs kiss, the rain drops creating ripples in the water with each drop, the waves etc, Its just phenomenal. Not to mention face and character design, it's like looking at real people. Ps5 is closer to 2070 level in terms of performance. Sure ps5 can hit 120 in SOME games (mostly multiplayer or some lighter titles) but the resolution takes a hit to make up for it. Horizon is still a 60fps cap on ps5. A PC version of Forbidden West would look better than a Forbidden West PS5 but would a Forbidden West on PS5 with millions of more polygons and triangles in the models, denser vegetation, better wind/weather physics, and better environments be better than Horizon Zero Dawn on PC at Ultra settings?
